Can I create custom checklists?
Yes, you can create up to 4 custom checklists with up to 20 entries and any content. You will need the Dräger Measurement Data Manager PC200P.
When do I need an activation key for the Dräger Measurement Data Manager to transfer measurements from my test unit to a PC?
Depending on the device model you will need an activation key for builds January 2013 and newer. The Dräger P4000 and FG4200 do not require a separate activation key.
Can I use an activation key for several devices?
Activation keys are linked to devices. You will need a separate activation key for every device.
Where can I purchase an activation key for the PC200P software if my test unit requires one?
You can obtain an activation key from your dealer with the serial number for your device.
My device doesn’t transfer customer data I entered or edited in the test unit to the Dräger Measurement Data Manager PC200P. How can I transfer this data to a PC?
First transfer your measurement data into PC200P from your test unit. Then open the dialogue “Data balance” in PC200P using the Data balance button. This allows you to transfer customer data from the test unit to your PC. You will find an instruction video in our video portal.
The Dräger Measurement Data Manager PC200P on my PC displays the error message “Missing USB driver'. Why?

Hardware
Replacing the O2 sensor: Can I replace the O2 sensor in my test unit?
On principle you can replace the O2 sensor yourself. However, after replacing the O2 sensor it’s crucial to verify it is working correctly with test gas. We therefore recommend having the O2 sensor replaced by a certified Dräger MSI service partner.
Infrared printer replacement colour ribbon: Do I need a spare colour ribbon for my Dräger IR3 printer?
No, Dräger infrared printers are thermal printers and do not use colour ribbon. Please use original Dräger MSI printer paper and ensure the batteries are fully charged for optimal print results.
Charging the battery: How often do I need to charge the battery to ensure the device is fully functional?
We recommend fully charging the device about every two weeks when not in use. This will ensure the battery in the device is charged sufficiently and prevent damage from total discharge if the device is not being used. This will also maintain the battery capacity.
Using old HP printers with new test units: I purchased a new Dräger MSI test unit but still have my old HP printer. Can I continue to use the HP printer?
Yes, you can continue to use the HP printer. But please be sure your device is set to the “HP” printer.
Replacing the battery: Can I replace the battery in my device myself?
You can generally replace the battery yourself. However, it must be replaced correctly, so we recommend having the battery replaced by a certified Dräger MSI service partner.
Poor printout: The printout of my infrared printer is very poor. What causes this?
Draeger Msi USB Devices Driver
The batteries in your infrared printer may be drained or low or you are using the wrong printer paper. Please use original Dräger MSI printer paper and ensure the batteries are fully charged for optimal print results.
Error massages
My test unit displays the error message 'TIM'. What does it mean?
TIM means timer and indicates the internal clock is off and needs to be set. Please refer to the operating instructions.
My test unit displays the error code 'E1' when switched on. What do I need to do?
This is a sensor error. The sensor must be tested by a service centre. Please send in your device for authorized service.
Long device start-up: My flue gas analyser hat takes a long time to start up. Why?
Some models feature a technology which is very easy on the sensor. For this reason there are default times for quick and slow start-up. The time of the day for quick start-up is Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm. Outside of this time the device uses short start-up. Please be sure the device is set to the correct date and time.
My test unit displays the error “Options' when switched on. What do I need to do?

The clock is not set or off (e.g. due to fully drained battery). Go to the device settings and correct the time and date settings. For detailed instructions, please refer to the operating instructions for your device.
My test unit displays the error “Charging control' when switched on. What do I need to do?
The charging control in the test unit detected an error because the battery capacity doesn’t seem plausible (e.g. due to fully drained battery). Please fully charge the test unit. The charging time varies by device. Please refer to the operating instruction for your test unit for the exact charging time.

Service
My test unit shows “Next Maintenance' when switched on. What do I need to do?
Starting one month before the next maintenance is due, your test unit will indicate the next maintenance is due. This display will appear until the maintenance date is reset by a service centre. Please send your test unit to your authorized service point.
I would like to send in my device for maintenance / repair. What do I need to remember?
We will need the device, all accessories (e.g. probes) to be tested, and the maintenance schedule for maintenance/repair. We also need a written order specifying which services to perform (e.g. perform routine maintenance) and, if applicable, a description of the error.
Please note, we can only accept devices properly packaged inside a shipping carton. We cannot accept devices sent in their equipment case. A rule of thumb for packing the devices: The packaging must protect the device in a fall from 1 metre!
Please send your test unit to the following address:
